Tornadoes are stationed in Manching near Ingolstadt, 20 km away. In order to loosen up the plane observation a bit I had made my way there and waited anxiously for the movements on the airfield. At first glance, I could only discover this Airbus A400M, which stood alone on the edge of the forest. After I drove all over the airport, a tornado was made ready to fly. My picture report shows the roll-on to the "Last Change", the check there, the alignment on the runway and the departure. Compared to the usual Eurofighters, this plane is loud, and very loud! Unprepared as I was, I had to stop recording and protect my ears :)
Im 20 km entfernten Manching bei Ingolstadt sind Tornados stationiert. Um die Flugzeugbeobachtung etwas aufzulockern hatte ich mich auf den Weg dorthin begeben und wartete gespannt auf die Bewegungen auf dem Flugfeld. Auf den ersten Blick konte ich nur diesen Airbus A400M entdecken, der einsam am Waldesrand stand. Nachdem ich dann den ganzen Flugplatz abgefahren hatte wurde ein Tornado flugfertig gemacht. Mein Bildbericht zeigt das Anrollen zur "Last Change", die Überprüfung dort, das Ausrichten auf der Startbahn und den Abflug. Im Vergleich zu den gewohnten Eurofightern ist dieses Teil laut, und zwar sehr laut! Unvorbereitet wie ich war musste ich die Aufnahmen abbrechen und mir die Ohren zuheben :)
