Tendrils (sulur) is part of a plant that usually resembles a spiral and is useful for twisting the objects it touches, which is to cling to when the plant is trying to get a support to be able to rise to the top.
In Cucurbitaceae plants, when the tendrils touches the wooden branches on the left side, the tendrils will twist the branches to the left, and vice versa.
