I got it back in September, it had 2 spikes and both spikes were bloomed. It was injected with blue dye at the time, i did not know it wasn't natural.
After awhile the bottom leaves browned and fell off which i read was normal, the flowers wilted and i cut the spike at half the length as per a YouTube tutorial, to maybe encourage new flowering. Nothing grew, so i cut the spikes all the way down.
I repotted the plant at the end of January, using orchid bark mixture, made from coconut. Poor little plant had mushy and moldy roots, i cut them all off. It also had a sponge at the stem which i removed. After the repot, it only had 2 long healthy roots, the rest were cut off. I thought everything was going well until the last 2 leaves started yellowing and dying. Today one leaf fell off and the last one is there and I'm not sure what's wrong. I don't see any stem rot, at least i don't think. I have spotted new green roots growing but very slowly. I have inserted a pink stick of orchid fertilizer in hope of helping but it has not changed a thing.
I have tried watering when the bark was dry and the roots seemed silvery, though it took 2-2.5 weeks to get there, so i watered around that time even if the roots were not grey
There are no pests, no discoloration on the leaf and i dont see any visible mold.
The exposed roots seem an odd color, I'd like to assume that's because of the blue dye that was used.
Sorry for such a long text, i am worried
Here is a picture of when i first got it. Excuse the bad watering plan, i have learned how to properly water it since then
Also no new leaves have grown since i got it.
