Plastic waste is a major environmental problem in developing countries especially in urban centers. These plastic blocks water ways and causes floods in urban areas. This is the case with the city of Bamenda and Douala in Cameroon. The Regional Delegation of Environment in collaboration with local organisations and students on internship collected plastic bottles from streams in Bamenda produce nursery pots. These activity helps to clean our environment and provide trees for the fight against climate change. Join the fight against plastics in our cities and water bodies.
