Wow, madness! Somehow, breaking records seem to be the norm nowadays? This time, this is hands down easily one of my favourite players, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA) from Oklahoma City Thunders (OKC).
SGA is just a really really down to earth and humble man, how to hate this guy man...
Alright, so what did SGA do this time? Straight out of madness, SGA completed an amazing record of scoring more than 20 points per game for over 127 consecutive regular season games. This, is absolutely madness man! This streak started since 2024, and it took him whole freaking 2 years! If you are still wondering, there are only 82 regular season games per season. This is literally, more than 1 season of pure fantasy skills man!
So the previous record was held by basketball legend, Wilt Chamberlain. Now that SGA has surpassed it, every single match he plays right now just makes it harder for someone else to chase it!
I know, if you were to flip any NBA match you would see that likely the franchise player of each team to hit 20 points. Seems like an achievable feat right? But come on, to be fair, this is consistency at its highest level man. Even a task as simple as cutting fruits, baking cakes, typing numbers into excel or even writing words, we sometimes also will mess up. This guy, does not mess up for 127 games straight, this is really consistency at its highest level man!
