The goal of this project is to encourage newbies to learn how to play games, contests, and challenges. Ideally we want them to understand that not only is it fun, it is a great way to engage and make new connections. Also having them understand they can earn money too is a big aspect of games. So in this part, I will highlight how you, the gamemaker, can help with this project.
Ideas For GameMakers (#2 and #3 are optional)
1. Send me a link to your game/contest/challenge in this post. Just drop it right in! I can't play every game, but I will play as many as I can during the week. I will send out a new post ever couple days asking for "live" games. Please keep a look out for those posts so you can get your game possibly played.
2. If you have a spare tag for your post, you could tag it with #newbiegames. I frequently search the #newbiegames tag for games to play myself. (note: you can still edit older games with that tag as I will go through the feed thoroughly tomorrow)
3. You could devise a "simplified" version of your game to encourage participation as an intro to these newbies. Remember that many of them have never really played games, so the more complicated the more daunting. Note if you do this, please let me know so that I can give you special attention and a banner to use to co-market this.
