Beautiful life!
Yesterday was fabulous. Warm, bright, and sunny - my favorite kind of weather. The hubby is home, so it was a day of rest for this soul. Besides, I was feeling a little tired from working straight for 3 days, and the things I needed to continue with my project (ordered online) are still at my sister's.
In the afternoon, I let my lil boy go out for some fun. But of course, I had to be with him, so it was a play date, not with other kids, but between a lil boy and his mom, hehe!
Anyway, he couldn't contain his excitement. He ran and ran until he was nearly out of breath. His happiness is always multiplied when he's out in the open.
He's quite the fun explorer, always curious. He found potatoes run over by the tractor, and he munched on some, only to spit them out again soon after.
We went further and reached the tall trees. The guavas are mostly ripe, and plenty have fallen. Thought Yongi would eat them, but he just sniffed on some and went on with his adventure.
At some point, he'd disappear between the tall weeds, then he'd run so fast I couldn't catch him. But he would be coming right back to where I was in a matter of seconds.
But yeah, he's a happy kid! "Dirty paws, happy heart," as someone said in a comment.
My feet are likewise delighted. They got their dose of energy from Mama Earth since I walked barefoot. I should remind myself to do this often, especially since the dry season might be upon us already.
Well, our outdoor playtime lasted for about 45 minutes. The LilGuy rested while I cleaned the mess that got tangled in his fur. It's easier to bathe him without them. After that, we spent the next hour drying and brushing his hair, cleaning his nails too, making sure no more dirt was hiding in them.
It was a fun day, and we hit the sack early. I didn't realize this wasn't published as scheduled.
