So I have decided to write a 5-piece series concerning this phrase that I believe Steemit is all about.
There is so much to say and yet I am not one for essay type content, as I prefer to be to the point with many things yet, I find myself writing about something that evokes emotion within me, and will attempt to convey it as best I can.
Do You Possess PLURC?
I actually think in some sense Steemit’s values are exactly just that.
It’s been my experience that from my first ‘introduce yourself’ post, that I really learnt what digital community was, I received warm welcomes and general interest from strangers when it felt like I was the new kid in school that arrived in the middle of the term(semester).
The warmth, help and support that is still on going, only made me love the platform more.
There are so many ways to share the love, and always so much going on that even though it seems crazy, the ‘feel’ of Steemit somehow remains the same.
I would like to believe that it stays that way because all peeps are united in something that sets us apart from others. This can range from, trying to make a life via the platform, finding great and original content, having your finger on the digital pulse when it comes to banking / cryptocurrency and development in most things and technological advances but basically finding like-minded beings.
There is a profound respect for good and original content, and systems put in place to support that ideal. I personally find this refreshing, especially when it comes to jokes/memes and news.
Together all peeps here are working in harmony, relying on one other to succeed and bounce ideas to and from …
I suspect that if you have read this far you would also realise that you uphold these values and that PLURC is with in you.
In my next few posts I will attempt to dive a bit deeper into it, with my understanding of these values are and would love to know your thoughts, and have your input and suggestions.
Feel free to follow me to catch the next posts as I start this series.
