I live in a dense neighborhood, but spead out over the area are still some nice small parks where you can go for a walk. It was a bit rainy yesterday, but that didn't hold me back.
I love the views when the forest floor is covered with leaves. It also smells nice I think.
Always pay attention to the details! This oak leaf had captured some of todays raindrops. The cohesion of water keeps fascinating me.
In the park is a small castle that dates from the late 18th century. The park around it used belong to the residents of the castle, but now it's owned by the municipality.
It's a nice park with a large diversity of trees and plants. There are a lot of needle-leaved trees so the park stays a bit green in autumn.
At the backend of the park you have a nice view over the Dutch polders. Here's a typical historic windmill that was used to pump away the water.
I hope you liked my photos!
