We got married on a Wednesday as I posted in part 2 of this series. We flew back to Accra the next day on a Thursday. There was a lot to do then as we had one more event planned a "small" party at the resort for our friends in Accra and some family. My dad also was due to fly out the next day on Friday.
I sent my mom and Dzigbordi back to the resort in a uber after we got a bite to eat in Accra and let traffic die down a bit. My dad and I stayed in Accra with a friend because the next day he needed to get a covid test early to be able to fly in the evening. I did that and a couple of other rounds in Accra before leaving him after lunch to head back to the resort and get ready for the party.
My assistant manager actually took care of a lot of the details with a wedding planner and they did a great job.
I wanted to share some pictures with you and a few funny stories to top this series off. It has now been over a week but I am still settling into life now that both of my parents have returned to the US.
This is one of my best friends in Ghana he is from Italy, cooks amazing and very funny. He is more than a brother and so generous.
Getting a little mushy before dinner. But I can do that now.
The high table of sorts.
We had a nice buffet. Of course more people showed up than expected but my assistant manager did a really good job of preparing.
Another picture of us in front of our back drop.
And another.

Some more of us chopping love.
So in every party or wedding party there is that person that is either extra, causes drama or makes a scene. This one had a little extra to drink and got caught trying to inspect what the groom is holding. Don't worry I stopped her immediately and sent her away from us and kept my bride from killing anyone.
Dzigbordi with her aunt that lives in Accra.
Most of my good friends joined us on this one.
These pictures were taken by friends and family and they have given their full rights for me to use them.
Now some pictures I took from my Google Pixel 3xl.

Part way through the party Dzigbordi changed into swim wear since we were at the beach and transitioned the party into a more casual event.

We continued to get guests well into the evening. By 10 we were exhausted and ready for bed.
