Snow snow go away,
I hate shoveling any day.
Blizzard leaves me sad,
Physical labor makes me mad.
Some kids like going sledding,
Some like snow angel making.
I just want to stay warm and dry,
All this snow makes this adult cry.
Do you realize that adults need Waze?
Do you know that jobs don’t give snow days?
So come here my shovel and my gloves,
Kids watch this adult work the stuff you love.
Snow is fluffy and cool,
An awesome reason for days off school.
But when you grow up you’ll see,
Snow makes heck for grownups like me.
Get up ultra early to shovel,
To hack and push and grumble.
I hate removing snow from the driveway,
Just to go in and slave for meager pay.
So enjoy your childhoods of glee,
Grow up and you’ll all see,
That snow days are not uber awesome,
They are actually rather troublesome.

Yes, new naming scheme. It’s not exactly daily poems anyways, and I keep forgetting the numbering scheme.
Hope you enjoy this poem!
PS. These photos were both taken on my iPhone SE2, with help from a gauzy curtain to emphasize the snowy-ness for the photo below. The actual scene isn’t so bad yet. We’ve got a blizzard warning state of emergency for the next 25 hours.
I decided not to use this photo for the thumbnail/preview image, because it’s a bit too dark. The top photo though, you noticed the open mailbox? Dagnabit! I hate wet mail! Especially since it’s tax forms season!!!
