Blessed Be
Blessed be a love like fire
Consumes and burns grows ever higher
Withstanding tests of times transpire
Filling hearts with such desire
A spark of life, a breathe of air
The world had stopped, became aware
Clock ticked on. None will compare
To the moment that we share
The spark it grew, more than a faze
It burned and burned, for days and days
Smoke rose away, saw through the haze
Just ahead, inferno blazed
A beauty flame, strong and bright
It warmed and fed, and gave us light
Enforced our will, when there a fight
It calmed all fears with it in sight
Then woke one day, sky overcast
Rains did come, yet burned steadfast
But from that day as time passed
A feeling known, fire will not last
Fed the flame, we always tried
The rains returned, won't be denied
We walked away with wounded pride
Then and there, our flame had died.
In then end fire won't suffice
Burned away, then paid the price
Whenever asked whats my advice
Blessed be a heart like ice

With all the amazing poetry I had been reading, I had to try my hand at it. I'm happy with the imagery I wanted and gave a few subtle feelings. Hope you all enjoy.
Oh and I know it's early... But disregard the beard to come. It's beyond my control lol
