The longer I stare the harder the focus.
Bone chewed and flesh torn in the locus.
Venerable elders tossed aside.
While the crowd just mill about, beside.
Eyes open but never seeing the tragedy.
Of broken forms flailing angrily.
One by one the cities crumble.
Only to make you less then humble.
Man against nature.
We never stood a chance.
Dust to dust.
Screams angry romance.
Mother Earth loves no longer.
Your willful obeisance only made resolve stronger.
To bring down mighty civilizations.
Drown them in the sea.
