Slip into the chilly pond
and bathe amongst the friends.
Cold blooded and all watching
into depths as you descend.
Glow awash in little ripples.
Mossy dewdrops on the bank.
Heave a sigh of natures breath...
into mud the toes are sank.
Fairy lights and tiny bells
Heard faintly in the din.
As the goddess dips her hair
reconnecting deep within.
Softly hums as man do watch
Entrapped and all enthralled.
Even wildlings fall to silence.
The world has briefly stalled.
Close to nature, whispers low.
As they all begin to listen.
Leaves branch closer, leaning in
with raindrops that lightly glisten.
Birds that swoop to gather water
blessed by purest touch.
Small reptiles swimming near
to be pulled into her clutch.
Radiant and so divine,
Her loving, sweet caress.
She gathers bits of forest
held devotedly to her chest.
