Enlighten your Sunday with another episode of picture poetry in German and English. While the poetry comes easy, it took me several hours to prepare the scene and myself and in the end I had to choose three pictures out of 68. The more I am getting into the art of photography, the more I appreciate it, as I realize how much work lies behind a single photo.
Take a moment, relax and enjoy some Nostalgia.
In Deutsch:
Nostalgie
In English:
Nostalgia
Many winters I have searched for you,
have gone astray, lost and found again;
long is the way back to the origin,
deep lies the seed in frozen soil.
On what note does the first song begin?
Cold ink on paper is all I have, why,
my lover, are the ravens black, O
tell me, where is that known?
Do you sense the longing in my chest, when you guide
my hand over the empty sheet, do you hear the sough
of my blood, my lover, when you kiss me? Can you feel,
what it is that holds the world together at its inner core?
All photos were taken with Nikon Coolpix P900 in Monochrome Sepia
Auf die Nostalgie, Prost!
