On the next day-19th December (1923) Nazrul reached Kandirpar (Comilla) after traveling from Baharampur. As soon as he ran out of hurriedly, assuming that Ashalata (the prawnila's name in the unmarried stage) waited eagerly for him. At this time, Ashalata was only fifteen years and seven days a few days. [...] In February 1922, when the poet stormed the 'rebel' flag and came to Kandirpar, a winner and stayed there for almost four months, he was not even full for fourteen years. But when he came to the world, Nazrul was in love with the teenager and he admitted the defeat by throwing the flag of the rebel 'Vijayini' in the footsteps of the oars. Muzaffar Ahmad was also writing that according to Afzalul Huq, the marriage of Ashalata and Nazrul had been settled. Not married, but both of them took the determination.
This time Nazrul came to Comilla after about 13 months of imprisonment. During his trial, conviction and imprisonment, he wrote a lot in the newspapers about hunger strike. His reputation as a rebel poet grew. [...] Birjasundari Devi (Pramila's small kachi) got public recognition while reducing his hunger strike. Naturally, Nazrul was supposed to accept Sengupta's family with warmth. But in the wake of the storm of slander in Hindu society in Comilla's Hindu society and even the attempt to physically assault Nazrul about the relation of Hindu youth with the Muslim youth, (formerly called 'Ashalata alias Pramila Dolan') with Muslim youth Nazrul, in relation to the incident, how much of the Sengupupa family's warmth is in the wake of this incident. We could only guess that, with the welcome. It is not impossible that a section of the family of the oven used to cool down to the poet, keeping in mind the slander of the previous time.
On the other hand, Giribala was not the husband of the goddess, she had no other child except the oscillation. He was poor and helpless. Sakina got shelter in the house of Dev. How honorable he was shown to her in the family, was not known, but the poor girl's weakness towards the daughter was more than that. [...]
... It seems that he strongly advocates moral support to the Nazrul's deep love for her child. In this possible interrelationship of the Sengupta family, Nazrul was in Kandirpar area for a couple of weeks. May be less than that. Every time I came to visit, there was not so much time. He did not return to Kandirpar again after leaving Kandirpar. [...]
However, for a few days in Kandirpar, only the Sengupta family had taken him intimately and did not depend on him alone. Even now, conservative Hindu society wants to humiliate him with the association of Nazrul with oscillation. So, he did not leave the silence and left Kandirpar. [...]
Nazrul will be married to Ashalata Sengupta - that news was being published in early April. In one of the newspapers, Kamruzzaman Cholatan wrote, "I learned from the newspaper that a young woman of a beautiful Hindu woman has been appointed with the young poet Kazi Nazrul Islam of Bengal." This was written in the newspapers of 11 April (1924). His money was published in another newspaper, even before that news was published. I think marriage arrangements have continued since then. Where marriage is held, who will be married, what will be eaten, what will be married, and who will get married? Thinking about these things started from the beginning, because this marriage and five marriages were not straightforward like this.
That's why the poet was not only concerned about organizing marriage, it was also a matter of concern, social and family barriers. There was no obstacle in his direction. Because, he had no contact with relatives. But the Ashalata family had a great hindrance - the entire family. It is not necessary to say that the Hindu society of Comilla created severe adversity. Sengupupa family will be monitored, did not he? In this environment, Ashalata's cousin Birendra Kumar Sengupta, whose name had been dedicated to the Nazrul Jugabani, opposed the marriage in a ritually written "Ranga Da Bai" magazine. [...] But the only positive thing among them was that Ashalata and Giribala Devi fully agree with this marriage and they had moved away long before (very early January).
On the other hand, Nazrul went to Baharampur on 17th April to join the marriage of Rakheel Sanyal, keeping the necessary arrangements of his upcoming marriage unpleasant. [...] It is believed that after completing the marriage ceremony at Baharampur, he returned to Calcutta with the sacred Gangopadhyay. After returning, he got busy and arranged for his wedding. Birajasundari goddess actually loved Nazrul as a boy. Even so, in the last minute to stop the marriage, he also came to Calcutta and wanted to take his mother back. But Giribala Devi and Ashalata did not have the strength in the face. [...]
Despite opposition, no objection was raised in the face of Asalata and his mother's determination. But there was no other way than to show their perseverance.
In Muslim society, once said, did not directly oppose marriage. But in the newspapers it was hoped that these Hindu women would then accept the rules of the Islamic Book and believe in it. It is believed that he will fulfill the basic principles of Islam in his own life.
But in this marriage, there is a bigger obstacle in the opposition than the social opposition. Pramila Hindu, Nazrul Muslim They will marry on any law
