Day has dawned, all gray and drear;
Raindrops spatter the glass.
The 1st of December is here,
The rain and sadness will pass.
Momentous Events have come and gone,
Unconnected they are, but seem to not be so.
Often historic events together come along,
Our bliss into chaos they tend to throw.
Let not the rain, nor events your feelings feuding,
Change you from your path.
Your vision of the world must not be skewing;
We view through a glass, darkly, it is not rocket math.
Take each day as you find it; Take the good with the bad.
December brings burdens with it, Try not to let it make you SADD.
