Intelligence is the second thing I’ll ever want, the second thing I’ll ever need
And lucky me, I got a kickstart of the stuff at birth
a modest pile genetics dealt me
when it was playing poker with my mom and dad’s genes
(by the way thanks guys, you’re the stuff stars are made of)
Intelligence is wonderful magic that makes sense of data
If data is a resource then intelligence is its plow
Mining fields of zeros and ones – harvesting the fruit that fits to pick
and refining, always refining,
analyzing, quantifying, qualifying
Intelligence turns data into information
and like any tool, like any trade,
Intelligence needs to be nurtured, needs to be shaped, needs to be grown
You can build on the pile that you’ve got
and now some smart people have even figured out how to put intelligence
into things that previously had not
They call it artificial intelligence, and some people are scared by that name
doesn’t scare me though
cuz I’ll take my intelligence – the brains that I’ve got
I’ll take the fake stuff too – and teach what can be taught
Let’s rally the intel – all that’s around

and make hidden things found
