Rising up slowly
Slowly rising up
Up Up Up
In a bubble
My cares are free
I never knew that I would be
Still
So still
Afraid my bubble might pop
And all that’s not
For the world to see
May truly be
Me indeed
For they never knew
The me they see
The deceit, the lies, the trouble
Never knew what life is like for me
Here inside this bubble
Neither do they care
Always hating, complaining
Quick to judge
And they tell me never to hold a grudge?
Is it fair?
Well I care
And I rise up
Up Up Up
In my bubble
My cares are free
I’m free to be me
But to them I’ll be
The me they see
The me inside the bubble
