The laughter that we shared. Through memories impaired.
They came alive unexpectedly; when you entered into my dreams so vividly.
Though I remembered nothing when I woke, I knew in my heart I was stoked.
I never knew the feelings could be so true. You lifted me up, I no longer felt blue.
The unexpected togetherness lingered in my mind. Even after the dream had expired.
You knew too well I needed a boost, through life's unfriendly mockery.
Dream. It was nothing but a dream. But I was thankful I could hear my heart scream.
A dream. It forever will be nothing but a dream.
