Free verse, vers libre, verse, which is free from rigid rhymometric composition, occupying a rather wide niche in the European, in particular, English, poetry of the 20th century. This type of versification, which is characterized by the sequential rejection of all the "secondary signs" of verse speech: rhyme, syllable meter, isotony and isosyllabism (equality of strings according to the number of stresses or syllables) and regular strokes.
Happiness
We are with you - like children
Enjoyed the freedom.
Running on the grass barefoot
Feeling dew.
Bathed in the river
Despite the coolness.
We looked at the sun
Through the branches of trees
Frowned by its rays
Fun and loudly laughed.
Joy filled our souls
No one around - only we two.
And our happiness
One for two.
