Ontology / water condensing
original poetrywater condensing
A piece taken
in hand
in vain
in majesty
to raze
the temples
and make
straight places
crooked
and whorls
into lines.
lines of rain
ungraspablehumid
a piece of air taken
in glory
hyperfilial
magnificence
to unlock
the boxes of travesty
to build
all the boxes
people huddle in,
turn everything out
into the dank street
for a morning of grief
Ontology
Taciturn accomplice
of motes,
turns of phrase,
and brief perishments:
I reach out
a hand of dust,
retract it
as a single drop
flourishes
in my palm.
