eyes like a rug
to wipe feet on
your feet are

a canyon of suns
a neon swoon
your encircled carpetorbs

Blaze the cipher,
higher rise than Olympus
lower than Hades, than treason.
You betrayed my ignorance,
Murdered the fool in me,
Castrated my insanity,
Made me search in flames.
For answers
for sobriety
schematics
sensations
for spirit
for sin
religions,
for zen.
My death became bread,
Crispy ghee-clouds that scream
Boiling sunshine, rice rotted
Into hobbits of putrescence,
Streets became chasms,
Sewers, courthouses.
Playgrounds, guillotines;
And beds became graves
Where I laid my relatives
To rest each day.
Days the same
but different
Immortal
& fragile
Horrendous & pure
Beleaguered, impossible
yet sunk in a vain simplicity.
Frozen instants
intent to burst.
implanted tension,
burrs of terraced
pyrimidal microcosms
fell from gumball trees;
ripe moons fell from figs;
fecund lizards scurried in reverse
to catch the sparks
Before they hit the
Bottom of the well.
Well of tormented joy
infinity of questioning
the eternity creaking
weldsparks blow in
breezes unseen
you wake from a nap
I go to lie down
you stand you sit
I fly into magma
you you you
not you not me
me me me
