The sun comes up and the sun goes down
The moon rises over country and town
The people lay their weary heads
Darkness covers all our beds
The sun has risen to wake the dawn
It shines forth its beams on man and fawn
The farmers start to plough the fields
Eagerly awaiting their harvest yield
Birds and butterflies flutter in the trees
The lion and the lamb awake in the field
Grass is mowed and children go to school
For this is the golden rule.
Life pulsates in the city and the sea
Fish swim and the dolphins too, with glee
The fisherman heads out on the ocean breeze
We thank God for food that meets our needs
