Losing icons
left
right and
centre
to suicide
They had it all
or so it seemed to us
because we wanted
what they had
Do we want it now
think twice
we all know
about the grass
let's leave it at that
Why do we worship
and whom
because we need
something and someone
to aspire toward
upward
Maybe we need to
for once and all
finally
look inside
and accept that
we
are
enough.
