I had some time off from my job.
It’s good to have a rest.
But first I need to do some chores,
to make my home look best.
Trim the yard fix the house,
vacuum and dust.
Fix the body on my car,
scrap away the rust.
Clean the carpet, sweep the kitchen,
give the floor some wax.
I can’t wait to go back to work,
so I have time to relax.
