sphere of darkness
mention this ancient day
time circles back again
white light of endless hue
shattered the eternal night
bending darkened dogma
alienated from its first form
sightless white dwells alone
awry away from such darkness
split as time began
separated till this verse stills
solemn black now longs
the lit of morn
but fades from its lost partner
shied from the union broken
mourning now until an end
the shifting shape of tragedy
shed the white from black
breaking the balance of the past
dark now embraces lights path
seeking it before it's passed
their undone flight to find
the one that was cast aside
existing in an endless cycle
of the huntress and the hunted
their loathsome longing
between this invisible expanse
to create a form of one
forever a part of another
bound to find the other
waiting till this sphere of darkness
sheds a warmer light
to force whites heat to night
