All in a days work
Sweat from the day's brow
Even from may's Frown
Nothing yet pays out.
All the working From day to day
Nothing quite works,
not a sunlight's ray
Then moon down comes
Our minds are at bay
We are at rest
Nothing much to say
Except for the work
And then the pay
Which keeps us moving
Which keeps us at bay
Else from the horizon
Then shall we sway
On and on till all comes nay.
After a much stressful Monday, i decided to write a poem. It's been three days since my last piece. I've mostly been doing game reviews, but then this poem came into mind.
Please read and understand, it's about working and the inevitability of our work. Which keeps food on the table. It's really simple to grab unlike the ones I've been writing these days.
DIVING DEEP
Stanza one
All in a days work
Sweat from the day's brow
Even from may's Frown
Nothing yet pays out.
This is mainly saying that all humans are meant to work, work and work. And even though we do work, the end results aren't all that satisfying.
Stanza two
All the working From day to day
Nothing quite works,
not a sunlight's ray
Like i said earlier, it's really frustrating when we work and work yet see no much change in situations and finances.
Stanza three
Then moon down comes
Our minds are at bay
We are at rest
Nothing much to say
You'll all know what happens when our jobs are really worrisome and tiring, that all through the day all you think about is getting home and sleeping at night. Well that's what this stanzas about.
Stanza four
Except for the work
And then the pay
Which keeps us moving
Which keeps us at bay
Then again what comes to your mind is the job you have to get to and also that you have to do it to get paid.
Stanza five
Else from the horizon
Then shall we sway
On and on till all comes nay.
In all things we have to work cause if we don't then nothing will work.
My quill bleeds
