THE BRIGHT GOLDEN SNAIL
The giant bright snail crawls across the sky,
Emitting glorious light rays
Like a volcano, sealed in different mirrors.
A sight to uphold
That no man can behold
at least, not for five seconds
else the pupils will grow old and all vision
temporary blurred, will begin to unfold.
Then when the bright golden snail crosses the sky
Do not look up, like the wife of lot,
But feel the rays with your body and soul because
the feeling feels just like home.
Hello everyone, at least those that are here, well steemit sure has reduced drastically, not a lot of folks around, but I sure ain't quitting.
I'm gonna be writing a poem for each day, so stay tuned.
DIVING DEEP
I don't know why I'm explaining the poem but I guess I'm already kinda used to it
stanza one
The giant bright snail crawls across the sky,
Emitting glorious light rays
Like a volcano, sealed in different mirrors.
The giant bright snail in this verse signifies the sun, which rises in the east and sets in the west, sending various useful rays of light to help us see.
stanza two
A sight to uphold
That no man can behold
at least, not for five seconds
else the pupils will grow old and all vision
temporary blurred, will begin to unfold
I think almost everyone can relate to this, I don't think anyone can look straight into the sun for more than five seconds without any help, and without harming your eyes, though the effects are kind of temporary and you'll begin to see well after sometime.
stanza three
Then when the bright golden snail crosses the sky
Do not look up, like the wife of lot,
But feel the rays with your body and soul because
the feeling, feels just like home.
Everyone knows what this means, never look up at a sun high in the sky, ( this means that, some aspect of nature is not to be studied or researched but just to be enjoyed, like the rays of the sun.
