This life
is a pilgrimage
that we walk
from our
first breath
to our very last,
our road, we must
keep traveling,
never really knowing
where next to turn
we are all lost,
waiting to be found
our time here
is but a sojourn,
too long walk alone
and too brief
for dull conversations
every one of us
are searching
for meaning amongst
useless ruminations,
emptiness, half-truths,
and lies,
the wise will see it
in our eyes
after all
the tragedies
that befall
we find
the frayed end
of that golden thread,
that will stitch together
the broken pieces of us
when we feel
our backs are
against the wall,
when we feel small,
we must keep moving,
we must
keep straining
to hear
the footsteps
of the those
who came before,
and walked until
they could walk no more
sooner or later
we all will arrive
our at own bliss,
just let go and then
like some sweet kiss
and we will discover
it to be a billion
interpretations of this...
we were already
blessed from birth
but finally we will see
our true self worth,
find forgiveness
and the strength
to say yes
to life...
step by step.
