stored in her hand
the world resides
seedlings for a new
beginning betwixt
uncertainties and potential
***
perfect chaos
rich with new soil
uprooted desires
rekindled in passion
drenched in life-giving rains
new seedlings
begin to press their leaves
through the burnt soil
her hand holds the future
in a rudimentary packet
yet all of life
emerges from her breath
***
empty soils
lovers interconnected
worlds apart
but reunited for the long run
the soil rich
with hands mixing
everything together
Postscriptum, or She Wants to Golf
For six months, I could not be with my other half, my partner in crime. But for now, we are again reunited and now she wants to golf. I am not a traveler, I am not someone that likes to fly, and even less so, with my golf clubs. I cannot even begin to replace them if something happens. I bought them new but at a very very big discount. Now, I have traveled with them 1200km to teach to golf. Keep an eye out for the upcoming posts about how that will go!
Now my clubs are in the room and they just looked perfect for the photograph. I am also so excited to begin this new journey. and I will also begin our small little vegetable garden soon. Keep an eye out for those posts as well! We might even try to make some compost together. New seedlings, new adventures.
For now, I hope you enjoyed the poem mixed with strange golf club photographs!
Happy reading, and stay well.
All of the photographs are my own, taken with my Nikon D300 and 50mm Nikkor lens. The poems and writings are also my own albeit inspired by the lover next to me.
