A time to worship
on a sunny morning.... Ain't
no day like Sunday.

Bright skies, sun rays filling the room.
All warm and cozy; a perfect time for worship.
Sunday my favorite day; a day to look forward to.
To commune with brethren; to share some love.
The love that binds us; the love that gave up life.
To redeem us; to make us one with the Father.
A love to make us love.
Sunday mornings; you've got to feel the love.

Traditionally, Japanese haikus consist of 17 syllables, in three phrases of five, seven and five syllables respectively. Among contemporary poems teikei (fixed form) haiku continue to use the 5-7-5 pattern while jiyuritsu (free form) haiku do not.
This is a Teikei Haiku.
