Written as it was heard!
Heard as it was told!
Told as it was seen!
Seen as it happened!
Parents hold your children's ears!
There's evil in the town!
The town is not safe any longer!
Traders go to trade and end up trading themselves!
Farmers go to farm and end up cultivating themselves!
Hunters go to hunt and end up being hunted!
Buyers go to buy and end up being bought!
Everyone whisper to a friend!
There's evil in the town!
The evil has no colour!
The evil has no shape!
It appears to you how you less expected!
It puts on your favourite attires!
It transforms into the appearance of your loved ones!
It serves you your best delicacies!
There's evil in the town!
It starts by knowing you!
Then it let's you know it for what it isn't!
It shatters you silver and gold!
And you wouldn't see that all that glitters ain't gold!
It's pretence has blinded your eyes!
In love indeed you are blinded!
There's evil in the town!
It preaches a gospel of contradicting phenomena!
It speaks a language of your heart!
It captivates your soul with light!
Light that is illuminated by darkness!
It burns your heart without you knowing!
This evil is your best friend in disguise!
There's evil in the town!
Tell your friends and enemies!
Tell the world around you!
This evil is yourself in disguise!
It emanates as an opposing spirit!
It confuses your thoughts!
It speaks within you to you about you!
There's evil in the town!
