Is it the pigment of the skin of a deprived race?
Or a spiral intuition living in our mental institution?
Where some carries it like a trophy.
Others distorted in their mind passes it as a plague.
I've seen the lakes of Victoria.
And seen the Kenyan sun and it's euphoria.
I reminisce the colonial days and the colour rave.
I could almost feel their tears like the fresh wine of Nigeria.
As they basked in agony for brandishing blackness embedded in their skin.
What is black?
Is it the Inferiority man made?
Or is it an idea that made man?
Is it the symbolism behind the spiritism?
Or the holocaust that dwells in the mind of universe?
Is a hysteria? A criteria to hate the beautiful sunshine of Pretoria?
What is black?
Is it not a people with a rich heritage of history?
Or the dementia of colour superstitious inherited from our ignorant grandfathers?
What is black?
Is it poverty up the rack?
Or specialty in the creation of the creator?
Is it not a mixture of people to make our world colourful?
What is black?
Is it a fountain of history?
Or a plantain plantations of chained men and women good for penury?
Is it a cause to face deprivation of oneself.
And experience rejection from themselves.
What is black?
A perception or opinion of opinionated fools?
Or a transgressions of innocent infants whose never grew up to know their sins?
Is it a reason so question the existence of the conscience?
When they possess a conscience but it seem their have a heart made if stones.
What is black?
I don't know.
I'm a black child who grew feeling it could've been better was I white.
I see previleges but my skin is limited to the damning sun and poverty of the mind
I see the burden related with inferior complexity.
They say it's in us.
But they keep saying it's a curse.

NOTES
black consciousness is what thus work entails, though originally a poem has been modified by me as spoken words.
The feeling of being black and all the racism that Comes with it, may have existed years in the past but however in recent cases these days we hear of cases of racism.
Of a fact racism will never die that's why I questioned the fact of it's existence, is it just the black skin or something else?
If all humans were to be colour blind, would issues of black suffice?
