it's midnight in Africa

We went out in search of the golden fleece
We came back as sucking fleas
Our debated traditions we reject,
To embrace neo-occultism
And who says we have not arrived?

Our heart of darkness,
Lit by the fire of civilization
Fuels to a more impregnable darkness,
Fraudulent, fiendish fraternities
Of warlocks, bats, spiders, snakes,
And neo-cannibalism.

Let them go on with their technology,
As we too advance in Black magic
With sophisticated cannibalistic rituals,
One step forward; Two steps backward
Our leaders playing 'musical chairs'
It's midnight in the dark continent,
When it's sunrise elsewhere
