The hardest thing to go through by far was having to attend the services of my friend's nine year old son Elijah, and to watch how people's hatred sometimes came through, some are so quick to second guess parents decisions, but honestly unless you have been there you have absolutely no right. (I'm generalizing here). What angers me most about Elijah's death is less than four percent of research funding goes to childhood cancer, leaving children with outdated treatments that often have little to no positive effect. Nine years old (Forever)
And the battle for his life
Started when he was only three.
A little boy
Should get to grow old
But sadly that was not to be.
He was a warrior in
Every sense of the word
A true Superhero
