The cosmos does not like to be seen directly,
always peripherally,
perhaps the answers are to just so,
present all along but living outside of direct sight
leaving a blind spot: an empty space.
I could write a thousand words
scribbled upon the sky connecting the dots of stars
so that I might make sense of that gaping black hole,
that I might stare with lenses and mirrors to find it
(I have been looking through one eye for too long and
and never sought to find it naked (eyed), to see off to the side)
and never describe that which can not be seen.
