Ups and Downs
Ups and downs
Is what life gives
And Just like you
I encounter both.
Sometimes I fall
Sometimes I am bruised
And oftentimes
No one cares.
But I rise and strive
For a victory awaits
One I would miss
If I stay fallen.
Just like you
I have lived on the edge
And that thought
I have had it too
Though the jump
I almost took
But I am glad
I never did.
Here I am
Happy and strong
With the will and might
I never had
All because
I clung to hope
And to God
Who saw me through.
Not all days
Will be tough or bad
Some will be good
Or even worse
But you must strive
To carry on
For ups and downs
Are part of life.
