She wasn’t looking for him
He wasn’t looking for her
She was living in a grim
He was living in a blur
Then one day their paths have crossed
She was confused; he thought he was lost
Still they gave in to what the world was giving
Everything became better.. a happy ending?
But infatuation fades, as people say
Soon enough, the passion went away
As quickly as it started, it also ended
And now it left them deeply tormented
Now, she doesn’t want to see him
And he regrets ever meeting her
She again was living in a grim
And he went on living in a blur.
Hi guys! I made this poem supposedly as an entry to DnW Contest 5 with the theme: Infatuation. But I had 2 poems then and I decided to use the other one entitled “Man in Black” as my official entry. Now I am sharing ”Crossroads” as the first of many Kay Poetry Posts. Thanks for reading!
