In a dark hallway
Of my hollow heart,
Brimming with restless pat
Of my restless thought
With a cacophonic sound
Of penance,
Oozing out
Echoes of despair
Which lingers at the doorway
Of its entrance,
Screeching:
Save me from the demons
Which are feeding
From my tender flesh
As a child would
From its mother's breast;
At that instance,
the Sun crept out
Of its hiding place
and lighted the hallway with its smile.
