He's not a poet. However, when the words come, they're undeniable.
Boy:
If only roses could be red and violets be blue,
We'd stowaway to a place just meant for two.
Toothbrushes, knapsacks, matchsticks, and candles
A tent and some stew, a jotter and pencils
Wave goodbye, driven, till your dreams come true
Off to Foreverland, where I'd pour my love on you.
Girl:
You found me, took me in, kept me safe and sound
Your gaze, your smile, feels like I'm the only girl around.
You loved me into a queen and you've never let me down.
Nowhere else could exist the love in you i've found.
You've shown me how to live, how to breathe and stay alive
How to smile, how to feel, how to drive
You've shown me so much more than what it's worth
To love someone unending, come bloom or rot!
So this poem, my love, goes out to you
For everything you've been, and for all you do
Forever and always, I'd be your lady,
Foreverland or Neverland, I'd go, baby.
