Only one wish.
Those who say love is like a rose.
Have never felt the thorns.
Those who hold their soul-mate in their arms.
Will never have to feel alone.
Why is it I feel only the pain?
And never the warmth and peace?
I feel so alone, and only have one wish.
I want to lay down my head and let my life cease.
I wish for no more lonely days.
No more cold and endless nights
I wish for no more promises,
Only to cover up the hollow lies.
