Alive
Of a truth, I can't but think
About some things that happen in life,
Or should I say all of the things
That happens when we are alive,
To us, others and the universe alike.
These things I can't grasp as they
seem to happen in flashes of moments
that I later recall in the dark of the hours.
Sometimes, they torment me I lose my sleep,
And other times they weigh my eyelids apiece.
Still, I can't but think about some matters
That concern me or others or the universe.
But maybe one day I'll stop thinking,
Maybe when I finally do not feel my head.
