It Comes Out in the Wash
As s philosophical Taoist and when I am on my game, I understand everything serves the Tao(creation) even a glass of spilled water. There is no low-fat milk in my house; it is all cream or cheese.
Rain falls when the clouds become heavy
Puddles evaporate when they become light ...
Water does not need to be told
It needs no forethought
It follows its nature
When I am on my game, I am aware enough to observe the wonder and synchronicity of everything; to understand that there is a tremendous amount of possibility in what appears to be a set back or point of contrast. The key is to view the circumstance with a sense of detachment and non-judgement and to apply the fix with compassion and love.
A light stroke will do
When swimming with the current
A bird need only spread her wings
To fly with the wind.
Confession ... I sweep my floor but rarely get around to washing it. I think of it as a an opportunity to build immunity with nature. When I spill water, which is often, I wash that spot. LOL. Half the work has been done for me. I tend to spill that water in the kitchen and so my floor stays kind of clean in there. There is a corner where I make coffee in the morning that is perpetually caffeinated. While giving me a high octane charge, I imagine, it convinces other minute scavengers to haul off ... very quickly.
Yep what we find to be the scent of ambrosia to the creepy crawlie is warning signal to stay out of there. Same with cooling smelling peppermint and warm smelling cinnamon.
Nature is both functional and nurturing.
All things come as they will
The master lets them come
She lets them go
She moulds without grasping
She doesn't stand against creation
What she creates
She sets free to flow through eternity
So back to my floors being at one with nature and as such the Tao. My neighbor's pug, a gorgeous girl named Bao, saw my lackadaisical house-keeping as a gift and she administered to every splatter in a but a few moments. I got my floor cleaned for free and had a real master-moment. I did NOTHING.
Everything really does come out in the wash.
The Tao is a flow
All are carried by her movements ...
Centered, feel her greatest peace
Maintain position with small strokes
Realize her greatest accomplishments
