Seeding creation.
I'm down to the final three days in my month of Haiku so I decided to move away from following a theme. So, for these final poems I'll simply be choosing a picture I like, and seeing where the inspiration takes me.
When I saw this picture it caught me with that feeling that you get when you see a great rock concert. As I wrote the Haiku I tried to capture that illusive feeling that playing an instrument gives you. When the music just takes you away in its flow and you're swept away in the currents of creation. These are some of the insights that arose while writing the haiku in response to this image.
This is day twenty eight of my month long challenge - from the 06th of August until the 06th of September - to post a daily Haiku on steem.
I have created a new tag #monthofhaiku. If anyone wants to replicate the challenge please feel free, I will check the tag occasionally and try to curate the better Haiku. However, this is not meant to be a challenge to the writers' community. I am away in Yorkshire at the moment with no access to a computer and limited internet. Please, forgive me if I'm slow to respond to comments, as I will only be checking my phone (and partiko) occasionally while away. This weeks Haiku are being published via
