Let's hammer out some solid notes,
lets smash the keys onto the bricks and assemble the leftovers.
Let's have the sound of the beating heart rain down in pebbles
why settle for tears when you can wreck the landscape
hailstorms telling tales of thoughtforms
Lovers running from shelter to shelter, but in between
I will pound the umbrella out of your hand
Let the unnecessary fall and run!
For when I come to call i drown out all other sounds, putting out fires
raining down just as much destruction as a hot blaze.
The steam mixes with the ashes as my Eye looks elsewhere in violent silence
for people - not lovers - still standing, still clinging on
not to hope: to stone
And I am the rock smasher.
