Hello people! Since some of you have already read some of my stories, I thought today I should give you a taste of my poetry (please, be kind). Normally I don't feel comfortable with people reading my poems, but after a little push from a friend I decided to give you a small sample.
This is a poem inspired by one of my favorite steemit artists . I thank him for allowing me to use his picture on my post. You can find his wonderful painting here as well.
The moonlight so cold was trying to cover her body...
caressing her every little detail, her every skin cell, the tiny freckles, the little moles,
the thousands of hairs that decorated her from top to toe.
There she was, lying free, carefree,
carefree and simple,
as simple as we all are deep down,
beneath those clothes that carry a significance for others, for society,
too heavy for us to bear.
Right there under the moonlight she was nothing but herself,
nothing but her naked soul and nothing but her will for life.
She hated those clothes,
she hated them for giving her a status,
a purpose in life, a pile of expectations others had for her.
Right there under the moonlight she was just another soul,
just another beating heart,
another woman thirsty for love, passion, devotion.
Right there under the moonlight she was waiting.
Right there under the moonlight she was ready to surrender.
Thank you for stopping by and reading this poem. I hope you didn't find it completely uninteresting! If you please, feel free to pay a visit to my blog and check out my short stories along with plenty of educational posts and of course my bizarre natural phenomena series.

Until my next post,
Steem on and keep smiling, people!
