My husband and I set out to write a poem about each of our 5 kids. This one was written by me. It's for our 2 year old daughter, Sophia. Here are the other poems we created so far! To my son: https://steemit.com/poetry/@snowpea/my-marvel-my-son-original-verses

Sophia Love
Sweet as a dove
And I am not bragging
You were sent from above
It's said you're my favorite
But this is not true
The thing of it is
My last child is you
You are my youngest
And maybe it's said
That you're a bit spoiled
that I think you're the best
But please don't judge
I will tell you the rest
I'll tell of a two year old
Who barely ever cries
Rarely has a tantrum
Nearly perfect in my eyes
And this I admit
I hardly have to try
At such a young age
She knows so very much
Her letters and numbers
And colors and such
She tells me she loves me
And every single day
She gives kisses and hugs
And I love her this way
Her nickname is Soph-a-loaf
Like a big loaf of bread
Though not right for the title
It wouldn't be well read
But she still has her baby fat
And pinchable tummy
I don't really mean it
But I tell her she's yummy
So sweet and so round
Like a cinnamon roll
So smart and so pretty
So much remains untold
My little Sophia love
Oh how I love you
And I am so happy
That you love me too
