Maraming tao sa mundong ito
Hangad ay maging perpekto
Ngunit, ito ba ay posible?
O tuwiran nang imposible?

Paanon magagawang perpekto
Ang napaka-komplikadong mundo
Punong-puno ng kasamaan
Kahit sa sariling tahanan

Minsan ang naghahangad ng perpekto
Ay siya mismong gumagawa ng multo
Isang multo na kinatatakutan
Multong nangunguna sa kasamaan

Perpekto nga kung maituturing
Kund sa kasamaan naman nanggaling
Mas mabuti pang maging normal
Na puno naman ng pagmamahal

This poem is an old composition I made when I was in University. It refers to people who desired to be perfect. Is it possible or not to be perfect. It also questions the existence of perfection in such a complicated world. Sometimes, people desire to be perfect for some "dark" reasons. They become too selfish... they don't keep their feet on the ground. Their blinded by their achievements that everything around them seems not to matter anymore.

I'd rather have a heart that's full of love than to be perfect is what was written in the last stanza. Sometimes, our desire for something blinds us of the things that are within our reach. So let's all try to live the moment. Focus ourselves with the things that are important to us at the moment. Treasure the "now" for it will lead us to a happier future.
