Hey, Steemians, this poem is a unique piece from my father Benjamin Mathe, he is a poet and retired policeman.I feel very happy to be sharing some of his poems.All his poems that I will post will be credited at the end by the initials "B.M".Most of his poems are inspired by his day to day life experience and the challenges that life throws at us.Hope you will enjoy reading!!!!!

I'll be back is a poem my father wrote back in 1998 when he was bedridden & battling for his life after being diagonised with Tuberculosis.

My body is worn out, thin and weakAfter taking the effectsOf a violent tuberculosis attackSome people reassure meThat I'll be back on trackWhile others are Already spreading the rumourThat i will notMake it at the end of the yearBecause i have the deadly Aids VirusWho are they to judge meWhen they are not even related to God?With my trust in God, my packs oftablets.The support from friends and relativesAnd my family,I believe that i will pull through,an be back in track again.
